Default A few More Questions

Hey Again,

1) Farming - I've not completed the game yet (any of them) and I was wondering are there any good places to farm and are there some guides you can link me too (I'm a Dervish/Monk...Suppose I should check if I can farm with that build in the first place!)

2) How much does a destroyer Scythe cost? I just saw one and I fell in love

3) I'm struggling to 1v1 the level 20's in..either Gunners Hold or Sifhalla (wherever the tournaments are!). I am level 20 myself but I can't see to do the damage...what could be my problem?

Thanks and goodbye

2.-any of the destroyer weapons costs about 25k, depending if u buy the materials from players or the npc's.

3.- the norn fighting tournament is an easy challenge with the right build. go to youtube and type in "guild wars norn fighting tournament" and there will be some guides + builds to beating it.

hope this was helpful

PvXwiki.com has many builds, a lot specifically for farming. If you look in the 'great' section of farming builds, you can see there are currently 2 dervish farm builds, one of which is end game (underworld). The other is specifically for Glacial Stones in eotn. There are other dervish farm builds in the good and other sections, you might want to look through those and see if there's any you can do. I'm not familiar with dervishes and their farms.

Destroyer weapons are around 25k at the moment I believe. Not sure, but you can always craft one yourself (requires a trip to slavers' exile after completion of eotn or in a party with someone who has). Check wiki for crafting materials required.

The 1vs1 quests in the game are almost always about figuring out a specific way to deal with that opponent. Check the wiki page on the quest for tips for your profession.

I never paid more than 20k for the destroyer weapon and I bought all the destroyer weapons for my HoM.

1. For farming have a browse in the farming forum Dervish/Monk can be ok depending what campaigns you have.

2. The materials for a Destroyer Scythe are available on the wiki. You can farm/buy the materials or just buy the weapon from another player.

3. It is good fun to try an invent your own build but it can be a bit frustrating. There is a Guide to the Norn Fighting Tournament and also the discussion page has several effective builds.

Correct, cost is 250 granite slabs, 100 iron, 10 onyx, 10 diamonds and 5K.

So, the smart way is to save up all the materials from drops (salvaging ofcourse) and then go and craft it yourself.
